Pricing and credits
UGC API is prepaid. You buy credits in packs and each published post uses one. There is no monthly plan, no seat fee and no fee per connected account.

What counts as one post
One post is one piece of content published to one account. In API terms, it is one entry in a post's results.

When credits are used
- When you create a post or campaign item, we check that you have enough credits for its results. If not, the request fails with
insufficient_credits. - A credit is used when a result publishes.
- Failed and cancelled results don't use credits.
- TikTok drafts use a credit when they are delivered to the creator's inbox.

A campaign reserves all its credits when you create it, so it either schedules completely or fails with insufficient_credits. See campaigns.
No plans, no seats
There's nothing to cancel. If you post 3,000 times one month and 200 the next, you only pay for what you posted. Team members, API keys and connected accounts are free. You can connect 500 creator accounts and pay nothing until they post.
Estimating your monthly cost
Multiply accounts by posts per account per day by 30. Add Story frames separately. For example, 20 TikTok accounts at 2 posts a day is 1,200 posts a month: $12 at the 1,000 pack price, less with bigger packs. Agencies can find more examples on UGC agencies.
FAQ
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. You buy credit packs when you need them. Credits never expire.
Do connected accounts cost anything?
No. There are no per-account or per-seat fees.
Does a carousel cost one credit per slide?
No. A carousel or TikTok photo post is one credit per account. Only Instagram Story frames are counted per frame.
Am I charged if a post fails?
No. Failed and cancelled results don't use credits.
