Account groups

Put accounts in groups with tags, then post to a group: "targets": { "tags": ["skincare-creators"] }. Add platforms to reach only some of them, like the TikTok accounts in a group.

Updated

Tag an account

bash
curl -X PATCH https://ugcapi.dev/v1/accounts/acc_tt_01 \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ugc_live_..." -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"tags": ["skincare-creators", "client-acme"]}'

Tags replace the account's current tags. Up to 20 per account: letters, numbers, -, _, . and :, stored lower-case. GET /v1/accounts?tag=skincare-creators lists a group. PATCH also takes external_id.

Post to a group

json
{
  "name": "Serum launch",
  "targets": { "tags": ["skincare-creators"], "platforms": ["tiktok", "instagram"] },
  "defaults": { "tiktok": { "privacy": "PUBLIC_TO_EVERYONE" }, "instagram": { "story": true } },
  "posts": [{ "format": "video", "media": ["https://cdn.example.com/serum-1.mp4"], "caption": "Day 3 update" }]
}

POST /v1/posts takes tags and platforms at the top level too. You can combine accounts and tags; each account is used once.

FAQ

Can an account be in several groups?

Yes, up to 20 tags per account.

What if a tag has no accounts?

The request fails with account_not_found, so a campaign never silently posts nowhere.
