UGC API

A ReelFarm alternative, or a partner for it

ReelFarm generates faceless TikTok slideshows. UGC API posts slideshows and videos you already have to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. One makes content, the other distributes it, so the right answer may be both.

What each product is

ReelFarm is an AI tool that generates faceless slideshows for TikTok. It handles the images, text overlays and posting to TikTok. It supports unlimited accounts, automations, an API and analytics. At the time of writing it is priced by slideshows generated: $49 for 100, $95 for 250, $195 for 750.

UGC API doesn't make content. It posts slideshows and videos from any source to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Pages and YouTube Shorts across many accounts. A slideshow becomes a TikTok photo post, an Instagram 4:5 carousel and a Facebook photo post from one request.

Prices and limits for other products are from their public sites at the time of writing (October 2026). Plans change often, so check their current pricing page before you decide.

Generation and distribution are different jobs

A slideshow generator is judged by how good the slides are. A posting tool is judged by whether every post goes out on time to the right account, in the right format, and whether you can see what worked. Tools that do both tend to be strongest on one side.

If ReelFarm's slideshows work for you on TikTok, you don't need to replace them. The question is whether you want the same content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube too, and whether you want one scheduler for slideshows from several sources.

Where UGC API is different

  • Four platforms, not one. The same slideshow posts as a TikTok photo post with optional auto music and an Instagram carousel, with Story frames if you want them.
  • Any source. Slides from ReelFarm, Canva exports, your own templates, or an AI pipeline in n8n.
  • Campaigns. Spread a month of slideshows over many accounts on a cadence with local times.
  • Pay for posts only. Generation is separate, so you can switch generators without changing how you post.

Where ReelFarm may fit better

  • You don't have a way to make slideshows and want one tool that makes and posts them.
  • You only post to TikTok.
  • You want templates and hooks written for you.

Using ReelFarm and UGC API together

  1. Generate slideshows in ReelFarm and export the slide images.
  2. Upload them to UGC API, or pass the image URLs. Media hosting is included.
  3. Send a campaign with your TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts. Each slideshow goes to each platform in its native format.
  4. Compare views by platform with GET /v1/stats and keep the hooks that work everywhere.

Migrating posting to UGC API

  1. Sign up and claim 50 free posts. Create an API key in the dashboard, or skip the key if your team works in the dashboard only.
  2. Reconnect accounts with UGC API connect links. Tokens from ReelFarm can't be transferred, because each provider uses its own TikTok, Meta and Google apps. Send each creator a link, set an external_id so the account maps to your own user ID, and the creator approves access without sharing a password.
  3. Map your existing jobs to POST /v1/posts for single posts or POST /v1/campaigns for many posts over many accounts. Run the campaign with "dry_run": true first to check the schedule and the credit count.
  4. Point post.published and post.failed webhooks to your handler and verify the signature.
  5. Run both tools side by side for a week. Pause the accounts in ReelFarm as each one goes live in UGC API, so nothing posts twice.

A worked example: 250 slideshows on three platforms

A founder makes 250 slideshows a month for 10 TikTok accounts. They want the same slideshows on 10 Instagram accounts and 5 Facebook Pages. With UGC API they send one campaign per platform group, 1 post per account per day. Over a month that is about 300 TikTok posts, 300 Instagram posts and 150 Facebook posts: 750 credits, or $7.50.

Each slideshow is reused across accounts, so 250 slideshows cover 750 posts. Captions can differ per post, which helps the same slides read naturally on each platform. TikTok posts can carry the AI-generated label when the slides were made with AI, as TikTok expects.

Before confirming, the dry run shows the exact dates and credits. After two weeks, stats show Instagram carousels getting more saves on list-style slides, so the next batch leans that way.

How to choose

  • Pick ReelFarm if you need slideshows made for you and post only to TikTok.
  • Pick UGC API if you already have content, or want it on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube too.
  • Use both if you like ReelFarm's output and want wider distribution.
